We arrived in Santa Margherita after a scenic two-hour drive along the winding mountain roads that offer breathtaking views of the Riviera. Our hotel, the Laurin, was located right in the center of the town, overlooking the harbor. The hotel's central location made it easy for us to explore the town on foot and enjoy its many attractions.

One of the highlights of Santa Margherita is its beautiful downtown area, which is lined with countless little restaurants and cafes. We couldn't resist trying out some of the local Italian cuisine, and we were not disappointed. The food and wine were simply spectacular, and we enjoyed several delicious meals during our stay.

If you're looking for some outdoor fun, be sure to visit the beach across the Elon hotel, which is only a short 15-minute walk from the Laurin. The beach is clean and inviting, and it offers a great place to relax and soak up the sun.

Basilica of Santa Margherita

But perhaps the most stunning attraction in Santa Margherita is the local church, the Basilica of Santa Margherita. This impressive structure is located in the heart of the town, and its ornate façade and impressive interior are truly breathtaking.
