What a night in Buenos Aires!
Oh boy, do I have a juicy story for you! So, picture this: I'm in Buenos Aires, aka "The Paris of South America," and I'm on a mission to find the best steak house in town. I ask a security officer at the airport for a recommendation, and he doesn't hesitate to point me in the direction of La Cabrera. He promises it's the best place in town, and boy, was he right!
Now, let me tell you, Buenos Aires has a totally different vibe when it comes to dining. You need to be aware of Siesta and the timing of it all. There's no early dinner like in the states, so you gotta adjust your schedule accordingly. But trust me, it's worth it! The city is incredible, with tons of historic buildings and beautiful parks. Everyone loves to be outside, soaking up the gorgeous weather.
So, back to La Cabrera. We snagged an outdoor table like many others in the bustling crowd and dug into our delicious steaks. I'm talking melt-in-your-mouth, perfectly grilled, Argentine-style meat. And to top it all off, we had a bold and rich red wine that paired perfectly with our meal.
But then, things took a wild turn. A few SUVs pulled up right in front of our table, and out stepped none other than Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones. We had no idea what was happening, but everything went fast. Before we knew it, they were seated at their favorite restaurant in Buenos Aires, enjoying the same amazing food we were. Can you believe it?!
